Who said that lolitas are lame, often fat, and uncreative?
Who has, at multiple ocassions, said that karaoke is a waste of time?
Who bought a lolita blouse and skirt from Bodyline and went to a Japan Freak party full of wapanese kids, with a bunch of lolitas, and watched people sing karaoke (watched, you'll NEVER get this girl to sing. Not even if you give her chocolate) to anime songs this Tuesday?
*raises hand*
(On another note; that Someone also broke a glass with her teeth 3 seconds ago. 'Tis a talent inherited from my late grandfather on my father's side. Though it was accidental)
Ho ho ho, how easy it is to stray from ones personal rules and principles... or should I say, get a little actual nonprejudical perspective on a group of people I used to despise (despite being one of the first wapanese of Sweden many years ago. It wasn't so fun because I found no-one else like me, and so I quit a while before the Japanese culture-invasion wave hit.)Now I didn't like that party all that much, but it was a good expeeience, I guess. And I already knew, like, half of the people there, it appeared XD
Anyway, the main reason I was there was to meet C, who brought me and the othe rpeople who had ordered from Bodyline out clothes!
I got a striped teal lolita skirt with an underbust double-buttoned vest (gonna change the buttons into brass ones), a pinstriped tailcoat with lovely silver rose buttons and long, long tails, an "exaggreated victorian" cream-coloured blouse which I love very much and is included in a million possible outfit ideas of mine, 2 unusual belts, 2 bondage collars (technically I'm more of a dominatrix than a subbie, but what am I supposed to do for accessories then, carry around a whip? How lame. I want a submachine crossbow.), 3 new sets of false eyelashes (one dollar each! Can you believe it?) and 4 pairs of tights.
I will look gooooood from now on. Or at least try to. Yesterday I looked like a steampunk lolita <3 And as my MSN headine will tell: "Mahlin has not converted. Steampunk is still The Shit."
And also, school has been going on for about a month now. I have LOTS of tests coming up and some new, useless subjects that will teach me nothing of value. And some good ones who just might.
And I have the Major Project, of which the designs will be uploaded here. And so will the finished pieces once they're done. I'm probably going material-hunting (in industrial trash containers - yaaay and recycling-love.) on sunday. It will, hopefully, be fun.
Until the next journal update, which should statistically be in a month or two, live well, take care of yourselves, and don't eat yellow snow - It might be gulasch. Yuck.

'O Oysters,' said the Carpenter,
'You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none --
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.
